Jalani Franklyn is Grenada Athletic Association’s first athlete representative.

Franklyn won the tightly contested election, beating Donisha Brathwaite by just one vote. The voting took place at the GAA’s Athletes Consultation on September 8, 2018.

He will sit on the Grenada Athletic Association, Executive Council.

Franklyn is a member of the SpeedZone Track Club. He specialises in the 400m and 400m hurdles events.

Surprised by the result, Franklyn said he will now start to work in the interest of Grenada’s Track and Field athletes.
