HAVANA, Cuba – The USA has denied visas to four Cuban athletes selected to compete at the World Juniors in Eugene, report radionuevitas.icrt.cu.
The four athletes are: Liagmanis Povea Rodríguez (triple jump), Andy Díaz Hernández (triple jump), Roger Valentín Iribarne Contreras (110mH) and Zurian Hechevarría Marten (400mH).
The Cuban Federation say that they will not compete at the event at all if they whole team are not granted visas.
