Olympic Games 100m bronze medallist, Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce, is now wearing a protective boot.

According to a SportsMax story, the athlete’s publicist, Sherie Ranston, said Fraser-Pryce visited her doctor in Miami on her way home from Brazil. The doctor advised that she should wear a protective boot, which she will keep on for the next two weeks.

Fraser-Pryce, the 2008 and 2012 Olympic Games 100m champion has been suffering from the toe injury all season. She ran on it on her way to her Olympic 100m bronze in Rio.

Two days ago, a post on Fraser-Pryce’s social media page, read “Lord for my sake, teach me to take one step at a time, one day at a time!”

Fraser-Pryce is also the 2013 World Championships sprint double champion.
