David Monti is the founder, editor and publisher of Race Results Weekly, the Wire Service of Distance Running. Since 1994, RRW provided summary results of over 3000 competitions per year covering distances of 800 meters to ultramarathon. Monti was also the professional athletes consultant for New York Road Runners for 19 years and arranged the elite fields for big events like the New York City Marathon, Fifth Avenue Mile, and the Wanamaker Mile at the Millrose Games. He is based in New York City.
