In the sprints, Mike Rodgers and Cravon Gillespie will compete against Paulo Andre, while in the 200m, Steven Gardiner faces Jereem Richards.
Machel Cedenio and Bralon Taplin are the top competitors in the men’s 400m.
Kyron McMaster is the favourite for the men’s 400m hurdles crown while Gabriel Constantino and Ronald Levy will battle in the men’s 110m hurdles.
Michael Mason and Donald Thomas should fight in the high jump. Juan Miguel Echevarria is the long jump number one but will have a tough Tajay Gayle as his rival.
Fedrick Dacres will be tough to beat in the men’s shot put.
Javelin throwers Anderson Peters and Keshorn Walcott are also expected to do well.
Both relays could bring fast times.
