The National Association of Athletics Administrations of Trinidad and Tobago (NAAATT) in conjunction with The National Gas Company of Trinidad and Tobago (NGC) will be hosting their 2016 NGC/NAAA Cross Country Championships, Sunday (December 4) at the Queen’s Park Savannah (Opp. Queens Royal Collage) from 2:00.p.m.
2.00.p.m. – 2km : Kids U12
2.15.p.m. – 4km : Boys/Girls 12-15
2.40.p.m. – 6km : U18 / U20 Girls
3.10.p.m. – 8km : U18 / U20 Boys / Women
3.50.p.m. – 10km : Men
Registration: $10 Kids, all other age groups $20.
In other track & field news, five coaches left today for Bradenton Florida to attend a USATF/IAAF Level V Jumps and Youth Development programme. Those attending the course are Robin Brereton, Wenedell and Mickey Ruben (Level V Jumps). Peter Campbell and Michelle Alleyne Pennie (Youth Development.
Continued coaching development scholarships were offered through the Regional Development Center (RDC) to two (Brereton and Pennie) of the five going to Florida, while SPORTT TT and the NAA/NGC assisted Williams. The other two coaches made personal applications.
Kerron Browne was also recommended by the NAAA TT and accepted by the RDC to participate in a Level ll IAAF Throws Programme currently being held in El Salvador.
