LAUSANNE – The top event of European Athletics for 2016 is the European Championships in Amsterdam on July 6-10.
Also the European Cross Country Championships in Chia, Italy on December 11. Inaugural European Youth Championships are planned for Tbilisi on July 14-17.
The 16th European Throwing Cup will be held in Romania (Arad) on March 12-13 one week before World Indoors. The jubilee 20th European 10 000 m Cup is planned for Mersin, Turkey on June 5.
For the Clubs the track senior groups on May 28 and 29 will be held in Mersin (A) and Leiria, Portugal (B). Junior groups on the track (September 17) in Castellon (A) and Leiria (B). Cross Country clubs competition will be on February 7 in Kastamonu, Turkey. That comes out from the EA Calendar approved last weekend in Lausanne.
