Mathieu, Miller win 200m races in Florida

CORAL GABLES – Bahamians Michael Mathieu and Shaunae Miller were winners at Hurricane Invitational on Saturday 11 April.

Mathieu’s 20.40 (+0.3) got the better of Adams 20.50 and Kendal Williams 20.56.

Miller topped the women’s 200m field in 22.90 (+0.1m/s).

However, in the men’s 100m, Mathieu’s 10.18 was only good enough for second behind Harry Adams 10.08 (+0.7m/s wind).

Michael Cherry posted 45.94 in the 400m and Brazil 39.37 in 4x100m relay.

On the women’s side, Olympics finalist Rosangela Santos of Brazil equaled her 100m PB 11.17 (+1.7m/s).
