Let me take this opportunity of wishing you all a fruitful and rewarding 2015! Also hope that even though late, you all managed to have a good Christmas season.

Last year had quite a few challenges; notwithstanding that however, we did manage to survive as an organisation. In that light, let me thank all those who through their time and efforts, contributed to the Association in a meaningful way. I want to in particular say A BIG THANK YOU to all the persons who made the Fish Fry the success that it seemed to have been. And for those who have not been as supportive, let me hope that this year will see you turning over the proverbial new leaf. The chain is only as strong as its weakest link!

2015 is of course the year of the Masters Championships in Lyone, France. Persons should have started acquainting themselves with requirements already; if not, please start doing so now. We would really like to make a big impact so we need to have all hands on deck in this regard. We also have the usual local Meets in which we usually participate in as well.

So, let me once again, wish yo all that fulfilling and healthy New Year!

Leo McEwan
President, Jamaica Masters Athletics Association
