Williams, Felix to headline American Track League

Jamaican Danielle Williams and American Allyson Felix are two of the biggest names down for Sunday’s (21 Feb) American Track League.

Williams, the Beijing 2015 World 100m hurdles champion, is down to contest the women’s 60m hurdles. She will face Americans Tonea Marshall and Taliyah Brooks.
Bahamian Pedrya Seymour will run from lane seven.

Felix, one of the world’s most versatile sprinters, will open her 2021 season in the women’s 200m.

Felix, who ran very little indoors and will take in a personal best of 23.14, faces fellow Americans Shawnti Jackson and Caitland Smith. Felix is a six-time Olympic and 11-time World champion.

Puerto Rican Jasmine Camacho-Quinn is also in the race.

The men’s 60m hurdles will have Caribbean entrances Greggmar Swift of Barbados and Ruebin Walters of Trinidad and Tobago.

American Michael Dickson is the fastest in this field this year with 7.54. Walters is second-best this season with 7.65.

Bahamian Warren Fraser is down for the men’s 60m dash. Americans Hakim Ruffin and Jackson Webb, both with 6.64, are the fastest entered for the race.

Chrisann Gordon will open her season in the women’s 400m. Sparkle McKnight of Trinidad and Tobago is also down for the two-lap event.
American Shamier Little, who has a season-best of 51.33, is the one to beat in the event.

Americans Vernon Norwood and Kyle Clemons are down for the men’s 400m.
