Danielle Williams blew away a strong field to win the women’s 100m hurdles at Sunday’s (18 Aug) Birmingham Diamond League.

Williams, disqualified at the Jamaica Trials, but now back in contention for the Doha 2019 World Championships, took victory in 12.46. The time is a new meet record, equalling the mark American Kendra Harrison ran in 2016.
