For her next race, track and field superstar Elaine Thompson-Herah is being flown by a private jet to Lausanne, Switzerland.

Lausanne, a city on Lake Geneva, in the French-speaking region of Vaud, Switzerland, will host the 10th Wanda Diamond League meeting on Thursday, 26 August.

She ran a stunning 10.54 for a new Jamaican record and world-leading time, the second-fastest time ever by a female sprinter to win the Prefontaine Classic (Diamond League) on the weekend. She shared her mode of travel on social media.

“Next stop Lausanne Switzerland. We taking it private,” she shared on Tuesday.

Omar McLeod, who shared bother/sister love with Thompson-Herah, reacted by saying, “you, NICE! you, suppose to live life. you, deserving.com.”

McLeod joked: “mi glad ya my sista cuz if regula plane she tink she a see me again”

Again, Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games big three, Thompson-Herah, Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce and Shericka Jackson, will face off in the women’s 100m. Thompson-Herah also led home a 1-2-3 in Eugene last week, with Fraser-Pryce second in 10.73 and Jackson, equaling her PB of 10.76 for third.

Thompson-Herah dominated the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games by becoming the first woman to win back-to-back 100/200m titles. She also helped Jamaica to victory in the women’s 4x100m.

      • Dean Sirjue the same athletes as in pre fontaine, especially Sha’Carrie i hope she goes to all the other meets as well. If she is at those meets, the adrenaline in the Jamaicans will be pumped up.
