PHILADELPHIA – Edwin Allen will lead six Jamaican schools into the Championship of America High School girls 4x100m final here at the 126th running of the Penn Relays.

The six teams to qualify for the final are Edwin Allen with twin Tia and Tina Clayton, Brianna Lyston’s Hydel, Holmwood, Jago, Catherine and Immaculate.

Lyston, Levell Headline Puma East Coast International Showcase

Edwin Allen’s quartet of Shenequa Vassell, Tina Clayton, Brandy Hall and Tia Clayton took their team across the finish line in 44.64.

Hydel won heat nine, thanks to the effort of Alana Reid, Brianna Lyston, Kerrica Hill and Oneka Wilson, who combined for 46.37.

Holwmwood with Akhalia Collins, Kiara Meikle, Sedeena Holder, and Abrina Wright secured their final ticket in 47.12.

Immaculate Conception with Chanel Honeywell, Essence Burbridge, Mickalia Haisley and Gabrielle Lyn was second in Holmwood’s in a time of 47.15.

Penn Relays 2022 Schedule/Order of Events

St. Catherine (JAM) 47.56 won heat 13 after Kavel Ritchie, Asharria Ulett, Kamaria Knight, and Kaycian Johnson took them around safely.

Makada Linton, Shenese Walker, Abigail Martin and Breanna Clarke took So Jago into the final with 47.37.
