Rio 2016 Olympic Games 110m hurdles silver medallist Orlando Ortega has said Confinement has helped him to shift his mindset.
He said it also taught him to enjoy his athletics more.

“Confinement has helped me a lot to think and realise how short life can be. That today you are here, but that tomorrow you don’t know where you can be,” he was quoted by MARCA.

“There is nothing more beautiful than enjoying, doing what you like most, going for a run…before I did not enjoy it much and now I enjoy it twice,” said the Doha 2019 world bronze medallist.

He continued: “If tomorrow I have the opportunity to compete, I will enjoy it, I will not go with the torment with which I went before.”
Ortega is also a bronze medallist at the European Championships 2018 and Pan Am Games 2011.

He has a personal best of 12.94s.
