Natoya Goule, the Jamaican middle-distance runner, is upbeat after her second place in the 600m race at the Penn Relays behind American runner Ajee Wilson. Goule crossed the finish line in 1:24.96, just behind Wilson’s time of 1:24.50.
Despite finishing second, Goule is happy about her performance and the support of the Jamaican fans in attendance.
“It’s always fun running in front of the Jamaican fans at the @pennrelays,” Goule wrote on social media. “Thankful for a healthy race and a great start to the season.”
Goule, known as Jamaica’s middle-distance queen, drew strength from the cheers of the fans as she ran, feeling a surge of pride in representing her country on the international stage.
With her eyes fixed on the future, Goule declared she was ready for the challenges ahead.
“More to come; I am just getting started,” said Goule.
The 19th edition of the World Athletics Championships is set to take place in Budapest, Hungary from August 19th to August 27th, 2023.
