NASSAU, Bahamas – In total 546 runners from 35 countries are expected to 3rd IAAF World Relays in Nassau this weekend.

The 2nd edition in 2015 had 669 runners from 43 countries entered (one more event was staged). For this year’s staging, 283 men and 216 women have entered for the event.

The highest number of teams will be in the men’s 4x100m with 21 followed by men 4x400m 19 and women 4x400m 17.

In the women 4x100m 14 teams are entered. In the 4x200m, 15 men and 10 women teams are expected to show up.

The remaining three events will have straight finals. Men 4x800m with seven and women five teams.

In the first time organised Mixed 4x400m relay, only eight teams are entered.
