CHARLOTTE – Olympic Games 400m hurdles gold medallist Melaine Walker was on track at Saturday’s (11 April) Johnson C. Smith Invitational.

Walker ran the 100m hurdles and recorded 13.36 for third in the final. She earlier did 13.27 in the heats.

Walker other race this season was 13.37secs at the Florida Relays on April 2.

Meanwhile, Jamaican Danielle Williams 12.97 (+1.5m/s wind) topped the women’s 100m hurdles field. Her older sister Shermaine Williams 13.16 was second, but was faster with 12.97 in heats.

Other Jamaiacns Andrea Bliss 13.41 and Ann-Marie Duffus 13.63 finished 5th and 7th in the final while Kierre Beckles of Babados ended 6th in 13.51. 

Spencer Adams on the men’s 110m hurdles in 13.48 (+0.2m/s) while Tiffany Williams won the 400m hurdles in 55.68.
