Jamaica’s Olympic Games champion Omar McLeod won the men’s 110m hurdles at Sunday’s (6 June) FBK Games 2021 in Hengelo, Netherlands.

McLeod, who recovered quickly after hitting the first hurdle, finished in a season-best 13.08. Devon Allen 13.32, and Wilhem Belocian 13.34 took the minor places.

McLeod’s time was 0.01s off American Grant Holloway’s world-leading time.

Dina Asher-Smith of Great Britain ran 10.92 to win the women’s 100m ahead of Blessing Okagbare of Nigeria 11.02.

American Fred Kerley ran 44.74 to lead home Jochem Dobber, 45.51 in the men’s 400m. Sifan Hassan smashed world 10,000m record with 29:06.82 in Hengelo

Puerto Rican World leader Jasmine Camacho-Quinn got a new meeting record of 12.44 in the 100m hurdles over Poland’s Pia Skrzyszowska, 12.80, a big personal best.

Abderrahman Samba of Qatari ruled the men’s 400m hurdles with an impressive 48.56 win over Yasmani Copello 48.88 SB and Nick Smidt, 49.43.
