Jamaican 400m hurdler and four-time IAAF Diamond League winner Kaliese Spencer took herself a husband. She broke with photos and comment on her social media page on Thursday, 3 January 2019.

“I got married to the love of my life,” wrote Spencer, who added Carter to her last name.

“Reverend Michael A. Carter, I love you so much @prophetcarter. Generally one wins a race. This week though both of us won, Love won. Thanks ? to everyone who sent warm wishes. MOST OF ALL, I THANK GOD WHO MAKES ALL THINGS POSSIBLE. May your 2019 be filled with happiness. #offseason

Spencer was the Commonwealth Games champion in 2014 and a double silver medallist at the 2014 IAAF World Indoor Championships. She finished fourth at both the 2009 World Championships in Athletics and the 2011 World Championships in Athletics. She was the 2006 World Junior champion.

Her Husband, in 2005, was ordained to function in the offices of Pastor and Prophet. He is the founder and Senior Pastor of the G.O.D Centre popularly called Celebration Church which is a charismatic church in the vibrant city of Portmore, Jamaica.
