Francis will compete at the Blue Marlin Track and Field Classic in Nassau, The Bahamas on Saturday (31 Aug).

At the meet dubbed “Last Chance” to qualify for the 17th IAAF World Championships, Francis will face a reasonably strong field in his pursuit 45.30s.

Francis will face Bralon Taplin of Grenada and Michael Mathieu, who was a member of Bahamas’ victorious 4x400m team in London 2012.

  1. Rob Taylor bro it’s saying only Demish Gaye and Bloomfield have the qualifying mark for the 400m.. that’s erroneous

  2. Javon need to run more 200m races like shericka and Shaunie that will improve his 400m come tomorrow I hope his make it if not then Nathan Allen will get the third spot

  3. Is it still on? Talking to a coach who wanted a race for someone already qualified, they thought bad weather might cause cancellation.
