On the second day of the Tiger Paw Invitational in Clemson, USA, Jamaica came out with a strong showing, securing two victories.

Lamara Distin shattered her own record with a phenomenal 1.97m high jump mark, and Danniel Thomas-Dodd took the shot put with a distance of 18.74m.

In the 200m race, Cameron Miller came out on top with a time of 20.33, outpacing Matthew Boling at 20.59. Javonte Harding also claimed victory in his heat, finishing with a time of 20.47 ahead of Emmanuel Bynum (20.59) and Kennedy Lightner (20.60).

Ushan Perera of Sri Lanka took the high jump title with a remarkable 225 cm, surpassing Trey Allen’s 225 cm. Rashidat Adeleke from Ireland dominated the 200m with a time of 22.68, while Charisma Taylor of the Bahamas claimed the triple jump with a new record of 14.04.

The mixed teams of Georgia triumphed in the men’s 4x400m relay with a time of 3:02.90, and Texas emerged victorious in the women’s 4x400m relay with a time of 3:26.73.
