Jamaica’s track and field queen Veronica Campbell-Brown is celebrating her 38th birthday today, 15 May 2020.

Campbell-Brown, who specializes in the 100m and 200m sprints, is an eight-time Olympic Games medallist. She won the 200m titles in Athens 2004 and Beijing 2008.

She also helped Jamaica to 4x100m medals, gold in Athens and silver in Sydney 2000, London 2012 and Rio 2016.

She also won 100m bronze medals in Athens 2004 and London 2012.

At the World Championships, Campbell-Brown won three gold medals, 100m (Osaka 2007), 200m (Daegu 2011) and 4x100m (Beijing 2015).

In total, she won 11 World Championships medals, five at the Commonwealth Games, two World relays, three World U20 Championships, four CAC and eight Carifta Games.
