Jamaicans Natoya Goule, Kimberly Williams, Lloydricia Cameron and Jordan Scott were winners the Tiger Paw Invitational held at Clemson in South Carolina on Saturday ( 15 Feb).
Goule, Jamaica’s record holder, clocked 2:00.49 in the 800m to beat Chrishuna Williams, 2:04.45.
Former Hydel standout Charokee Young finished third for Texas A&M in 2:06.45.
Jamaican Andre Ewers took 3rd in the men’s 200m, running 20.87 to finish behind Marcus Parker 20.70 and Joseph Fahnbulleh 20.85.
Williams leapt 14.12m in the triple jump to beat Ciynamon Stevenson of Texas A&M, 13.38m.
Cameron threw 17.57m to take the top spot in the women’s shot put. Alycia Springs of South Carolina ended 2nd with 15.85m.
In the men’s triple jump, Scott, representing Virginia with 17.02m took top honours.
Jamaicans Clive Pullen 16.84m, Carey McLeod of Tennessee 16.68m and O’Brien Wasome of Texas, 16.56, completed the top four finishers.
Meanwhile, Anavia Battle clocking World leading 22.66 in the 200m ahead of Abby Steiner 22.86, St. Lucia U20 talent Julien Alfred 22.99 (CAC U20 indoor record) and hurdles World record holder Keni Harrison 23.11.
In another race, Kynnedy Flannel ran 22.93. Marcus Parker was the fastest in the men’s 200m with 20.70.
Texas AM clocked 3:03.23 in the 4x400m, and co-World leader Darryl Sullivan cleared 225 in the high jump.
Kentucky won the 4×400 m in 3:29.74 World lead over USC 3:30.23 and Texas AM 3:30.91.
