Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce and Natoya Goule were winners at Tuesday’s (14 Sept) Gala dei Castelli, a World Athletics Continental Tour Silver Meet in Bellinzona, Switzerland.

Fraser-Pryce impressively closed her season, delivering an easy 10.78 to take the women’s 100m dash.

The Jamaican, who medaled at every Olympic Games she attended, beat a Swiss pair of Mujinga Kambundji, 10.99 and Ajla Del Ponte, 11.11.

Natasha Morrison finished fourth in 11.17 and Trinidad and Tobago’s Michelle-Lee Ahye, 11.19 for fifth.

Goule topped the women’s 800m, running 1:58.20 to beat American Price Chanelle, 1:59.75 and Lovisa Lindh of Sweden, 1:59.94.

Christopher Taylor ran 45.70 for third in the men’s 400m. Jochem Dobber of the Netherland won the event in 45.28 ahead of American Vernon Norman, 45.31.

Leah Nugent ended fifth in the women’s 400m hurdles, crossing the line in 56.28. The event went to Femke Bol of Netherland in 54.01.

Candice McLeod ran 24.18 in for fifth in the women’s 200m won by Kambundji, 22.36.

Nadine Visser of the Netherland won the women’s 100m hurdles in a fast 12.57.
