Former KC student Carey McLeod wins SEC long jump title

Jamaican Carey McLeod is the Southeastern Conference (SEC) men’s field athlete of the year. The SEC made the announcement on Wednesday (11 March) afternoon.

McLeod won the men’s long jump on 28 Feb, the first day of the SEC Indoor Championships at the Gilliam Indoor Track Stadium.

The former Kingston College (KC) student-athlete leapt 8.19m for the title.

He also picked up silver in the men’s triple jump with his 16.49m effort.
