Allyson Felix for Golden Spike Ostrava

Allyson Felix aims to join Gail Devers as the only US sprinters to compete at five Olympics. The Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games is set for July 24 to August 9.

Felix, who is expected to resume build-up later this winter during the indoor season, will not limit herself to the 400m. She finished sixth at last year’s US Trials and then helped her team to gold in the mixed relays in Doha.

In November 2019, Felix said if she is healthy, there’s no reason not to enter the 200m at trials. The 200m first round is four days after the 400m final.

“Everything’s on the table this year,” Felix was quoted by Olympics.nbcsports saying.

“This year, I’m going to be getting back to sprinting. I think that’s really key for me to be myself, and that’s something that I didn’t even get to touch last year,” she added.

Felix won nine Olympic Games medals, 18 at the World Championships, one Indoor gold and two World Youth gold medals.
