BIRMINGHAM, Great Britain – Olympic Games sprint double champion Elaine Thompson-Herah will start at the Birmingham Mûller Indoor Grand Prix.

Elaine Thompson-Herah, who became the first woman to win back-to-back Olympic Games sprint double – Rio 2016 and Tokyo 2020, will run the 60m on 19 February at the World Indoor Tour (WIT) Gold meeting.

The fastest woman alive will line up against Olympic finalist and local Daryll Neita of Great Britain.

The Jamaican star ran a PB of 6.98 there in 2017 and is looking to “give something to cheer about”.

The world indoor record of 6.92 is in danger.

Olympic silver medallist Laura Muir won the women’s Mile and fellow Tokyo medallist Holly Bradshaw prevailed in the women’s pole vault.
