BLOOMINGTON – Jamaican Waseem Williams won the men’s 100m at the Big Ten Conference Championships on the weekend (11-13 May).

Williams posted 10.10s to take the men’s 100m while Eric Harrison ran 20.39s to take the half-lap event.

Taylor McLaughlin tapped the men’s 400m hurdles in 49.62.    Mar´yea Harris won the 400m in 44.98

Isaiah Harris took 800m in 1:45.31.

Ohio State posted 38.93 in the men’s 4x100m.

Bahamian hurdler Devynne Charlton won the 100m in 11.22.

Brionna Thomas won the 400m in 51.13s ahead of Maggie Barrie 51.36 and Jamaican Titania Markland 51.40.

Meanwhile, Barbadian Anderson Devonish won the 200m in 20.55 at Missouri Valley Conference Championships (11-13 May).

Over in Houston at the Conference USA (10-13 May), Julius Morris from Montserrat won the men’s 200m in 20.32s.

McKinley West took the top spot in the men’s 100m with 10.20s. Trinidad and Tobago’s Asa Guevara won the 400m in 45.26.

Southern Mississippi clocked 38.89 in the 4x100m.

In Cincinnati, Barbados Mario Burke topped both sprints at American Conference Championships with 10.13 and 20.48.

Bahamian female sprinter Brianne Bethel clocked 11.20 and 22.74 for the female sprint double.
