Rajindra Campbell wins on US indoor circuit

Jamaican Rajindra Campbell took the men’s shot put event the Southern Lion Invitational in Joplin, Missouri last Saturday (8 Feb).

Campbell took the event with a throw of 18.04m.

In the men’s 60m, Zavier Johnson, 6.78 beat Guinove Joanus, 6.79 for the top spot.

Guinove Joanus topped the men’s 60m hurdles 6.75.

Josh Norville 7.65m was the top long jumper on the day.

Jasmine Decard won the women’s 60m dash in 7.54 ahead of Cornesia Calhoun-White, 7.66s. Calhoun-White took the 200m in 25.84s.

Emily Presley cleared 4.20m to take the top spot in the women’s pole vault.

Peyton Roberts, with 15.77m, was the shot put winner.
