Briana Williams, Sha'Carri Richardson face-off in Italy

Jamaica’s Olympic Games gold medallist Briana Williams and American Sha’Carri Richardson will face-off at the Meeting Città di Padova in Italy on Sunday (5 Sept).

Williams, who led off Jamaica to a historic 4x100m win at the Tokyo 2020 games, beat Sha’Carri Richardson in their last meeting at the Prefontaine Classic.

In Eugene, Briana Williams ran 11.09 for eighth while Richardson was dead last in the nine-athlete field, running 11.14 seconds.

Again, both will face-off in the women’s 100m, which also includes American Javianne Oliver and Anthonique Strachan of the Bahamas.

  1. How about, just let her live her life!!! You are being obsessive about shacari. she’s probably living rent free in your head.

  2. go bri bri. Jamaica produce champions to the sport not winners of a one race. In time your championship will be manifested.

  3. Shacarri ain’t nobody to be face off with smh
When are they going to u understand that sha’cant run periodt 🤦🏽‍♀️

    • @drsexxyann my thoughts exactly, she’s done nothing to prove herself to be compared to our ladies so she’s not facing off with a soul. A race is being ran and she’s in there just like the 6/7 other ladies, mention them too or don’t mention her at all cause it’s not adding up
