Usain Bolt, the greatest track and field athlete of all time, and the man behind his success, coach Glen Mills, are expected to have a new stadium in their honour soon.

Dennis Gordon, a director at Racers Track Club, the home of Bolt and Mills, made the announcement at Tuesday’s JN Racers Grand Prix Press Conference.

“In the next five years, we will be unveiling the Bolt/Mills Stadium.

“We are the recipient of 25 aces of land courtesy of that connection (MP Fitz Jackson)”, Gordon said.

“We will have further details soon.”

Gordon told Trackalerts.com after that the Stadium will be built in Jackson’s constituency of St Catherine South on Bernard Lodge land where Winston Chung-Fah’s Football Academy of Excellence was to be built.

Mills has guided Bolt to three straight sprint double titles at the 2008, 2012 and 2016 Olympic Games.
Bolt has also won four straight 200m and three 100m titles at the World Championships between 2009 and 2015.
