Asafa Powell and Elaine Thompson Herah are among 39 athletes set to represent Jamaica at the World Relays in Poland next month.

The Jamaica Athletics Administrative Association (JAAA) selected 20 females and 19 males for the May 1 to 2 event in Chorzow.

  1. Well from Seville drop out, the 4×100 doubtful to even make the final. I wonder the JAAA has been keeping tabs on Cristopher Taylor. Is he injured? The 4x100m ladies might be in with a chance for a minor medal. The strongest team is the 4×400 women and maybe the shuttle relay mixed can do something though not the strongest team that could be assembled. They did say they picked from who made themselves available.

    • Urel Sawyers Your assuming every other country will send their best. Its unlikely given the circumstances. The teams are all fine but I dont see many of them being able to beat the USA. Taylor is not injured.

      • Lexx Gayle I am assuming nothing. Just going off the current form that I am seeing relative to what I am accustomed to. I mentioned Taylor because I saw him running indoors and he didn’t look bad at all. Maybe he didn’t make himself available like several other athletes.
