Former World record holder Asafa Powell, Jaheel Hyde and Calabar's 4x100m team will be the headliners for the 4th Cayman Invitational on May 16.

Powell, who held the World record of 9.77 and 9.74 between 2005 and 2008 before Usain Bolt lowered it to 9.72, will headline the competitive men's 100m field.

Jamaicans Kemar Bailey-Cole, the Commonwealth Games champion, Jason Livermore, who won bronze over 200m, also at the Commonwealth Games are also listed for the men's 100m.

The other Jamaicans set to brighten up the Truman Bodden Sports Complex on May 16 are World Junior champion Jaheel Hyde, who will run the 400m hurdles and Calabar High 4x100m team.

Hyde ran 49.01 for a new Champs and Jamaica Junior record while Calabar with Michael O’Hara ran 39.08 at Champs to win the Class 1 4x100m relay.

Americans Queen Harrison in the 100m hurdles, Will Clay, the 2013 World Championships triple jump bronze medallist are other stars down for the event.

World Youth Olympic champion, as well as the CARIFTA record holder, Miguel Van Assan from Surinam, will face Clay in the event. 

Again, local stars such as Kemar Hyman, Ronald Forbes and Tyrell Cuffy will be on show.
