Briana Williams and Allyson Felix face off over 60m at the 113th NYRR Millrose Games

MIDTOWN MANHATTAN, New York – Multiple world champion, Allyson Felix, speaking to Trackalerts.com at the 113th NYRR Millrose Games post-press conference says Jamaica’s Briana Williams is on the right path.

Felix, who will face Williams in the women’s 60m dash on Saturday, feels the young star has a good foundation.

“She’s amazing and doing so well,” says Felix on the World U20 sprint double champion,” said the London 2012 Olympic Games 200m champion.

“I would encourage her to keep her circle tight; your circle is everything and rely on the family because the company that you keep is so important,” explained Felix, who won three world 200m titles in 2005, 2007 and 2009.

“That was the biggest advice I got when I was a teenager coming up, and it served me well. Briana is already on the right path,” opined Felix, one of the all-time greats of track and field.
