GRAZ (AUT, Jul 30) – Three Jamaicans sprinters, Crystal Morrison, Oshane Bailey and Shashalee Forbes, secured victories at Saturday’s Horst Mandl Memorial meet in Austria.

Oshane Bailey ran 10.14, supported by a +2.5m/s wind, to win the men’s 100m dash. He earlier ran a wind-legal 10.26 in his heat of the event.
Shashalee Forbes, Bailey’s training partner at Sprintec Track Club at GC Foster College, took the women’s 100m dash in 11.11 (+1.4, just 0.01 behind her PB from 2017). She also won the 200m final in 23.30 (-0.4m/s wind).
Crystal Morrison topped women’s hurdles in 13.04 (+3.8m/s wind) ahead of Serbian Anja Lukic, 13.17secs.
Meanwhile, 2017 world champion Ramil Guliyev clocked 20.40 (+1.0) to win the men’s 200m. In other race, Czech Jiri Polak 20.68 (+0.9).
From an Austrian point of view, 5.65m, a personal best effort in the pole vault by Riccardo Klotz and a good 60.89 in the javelin by Victoria Hudson.
