GLASGOW — BBC Sport presenter Gabby Logan took a subtle swipe at Usain Bolt, following reported comments the Jamaican star sprinter made about the Commonwealth Games.

According to an article published in The Times, Bolt called the Commonwealth Games “a bit sh**” for which the Jamaican world record holder has been criticized heavily.

Bolt has denied the reports and called the story “nonsense.”

“I’m waking up to this nonsense..journalist please don’t create lies to make headlines,” he said on his Twitter Account.

That, though, didn’t prevented Logan from taking a swipe at the six-time Olympic champion.

Kirani James won the Commonwealth Games 400m title on Wednesday with a record breaking run and then spoke of his delight at winning another gold at a major championship.

The Grenadian Olympic champion received high praised after his interview with BBC Sports, which then promoted Logan to comment that maybe he is now the most liked Caribbean athlete, following some reported comments made earlier today.

Bolt, who won Olympic Games gold in the sprint double in London in 2012 to add to the same collection he won in Beijing, in 2008, is only competing in the 4x100m relay in Glasgow.
