The reigning USA Junior champion and a silver medalist at this meet in 2008, McCullough crushed the meet record and his own American Junior record (AJR) in winning the hammer with a massive personal best of 80.79m/265-0 on his second attempt to add more than eight feet to his previous AJR. He set the previous record of 78.28m/256-10 when he won the USA Junior title this year.
