The final day of this year's Central Championships at Kirkvine Sports Complex was a memorable one for the Edwin Allen girls' team and the Manchester High School boys as the were crowned 2015 champions. 

   This championship saw the likes of Rene Medley (Vere Technical) of Class 1 doubling as she won the girls 200m in 24.00s, adding to her 11.72 100m victory on day 1.

Kasheika Cameron of Edwin Allen redeemed herself from second place in the 100m by winning the Class 2 200m in 24.46s. Ashanti Moore of Hydel was this year's class 3 girls 200m winner in 25.45. 
    Remario McCarty of Manchester High also doubled, as he was the winner of the boys' equivalent in 23.48s. He earlier won the Class 2 boys 100m in 10.92.

Jahnoy Thompson, also of Manchester, joined his teammate in celebrating as he won the class 1 200m in 22.46s, adding to his 10.81 100m triumph. York Castle too had their own double sprint champion in Krishna Edwards, who won the 200m in 24.51 to go with his 11.69 in the 100m.

   In the field, Edwin Allen took 1,2 in the class 1 Shot Put. Demar Gayle won with a winning throw of 18.34m and Alroy Williams took second with 13.73m.
