LEXINGTON – Jamaican Omar McLeod is the SEC Conference Championships winner over 60m hurdles.
McLeod, formerly of Manchester High and Kingston College (KC), ran a personal best 7.49 over, only 0.01 behind Jamaican record.
 
The mark, which got the better of Joshua Thompson of LSU 7.73 and Jermaine Collier of Carolina, is also third fastest in the World this year. 

Another Jamaican Kemoy Campbell completed the 3000m/ 5000m double with 8:00.27 and 13:44.96.
In the women's 60m hurdles, Samantha Scarlett of Auburn 8.20, finished fourth behind winner Kendra Harrison of Kentucky 7.92.

Bralon Taplin of Grenada 45.52 was second in the men's 400m, won by Najee Glass 45.37.

Aaron Ernest topped the 200m in 20.69 and Jalen Miller 60m in 6.56 over Markesh Woodson 6.58. 
Jamaican Remona Burchell won the 60m in new personal best 7.08, also second fastest in the world this year and collegiate record. 

In the 200m, Kyra Jefferson just beat Bryant, both timed with 23.02 and Kamaria Brown in her race 23.03. Shamier Little topped the 400m in second fastest 2015 under any conditions 51.37 with Kyra Jefferson second 52.00.
