COLLEGE STATION, USA – Trinidad and Tobago’s sprinters Deon Lendore and Michelle-Lee Ahye along with Jamaican Patricia Hall were winners at Saturday’s at the Charlie Thomas Invitational.

Lendore clocked 46.00 in the 400m to beat Bahamian Michael Mathieu 46.13.

The women’s 400m went to Jamaican Patricia Hall in 52.82 (also 23.54 in 200m for 3rd) over Kendra Chambers 52.83 and Jessica Beard 53.03

In women 60m, Ahye 7.17 took the top spot over Lavern Jones-Ferrette 7.34 and returned to run 23.38 in the 200m. Taylor Ellis-Watson won this event in 23.25.

Former Vere Technical athlete, Olivia James, representing Clemson, was 4th in the college women 400m in 54.67. Kimone Green, formerly of STETHS, finished 14th for Abilene Christian in 55.87.

James’ teammate Deja Parrish won in 54.13.

Meanwhile, World Championships 100m bronze medalist Trayvon Bromell posted 6.64 (6.61 in heats) and 20.64 in the 60 and 200m.

St. Kitts and Nevis’ Antoine Adams was behind Bromell in 6.70secs and Bahamian Adrian Griffith 6.74.

However, Ronnie Baker 6.62 in the 60m and Devin Jenkins 20.58 in the 200m posted faster times.
Adams also ran 21.23 for 2nd in the 200m.

Donovan Brazier won the 800 m in 1:47.80.
