Unofficial reports coming from the ISSA/Grace Kennedy Boys and Girls Championships, are that the Class 2 4x100m relay which featured St. Jago High School will be re-run today (26 March). It will be the last event on the schedule.

This race comes up at 9pm.

St. Jago crashed out of the Class 2 4x100m due to placement error, with their anchor leg runner. The runner doing the back stretch was coming in lane three for the changeover. He tried an unsuccessful lane change, as a result he stumbled reaching for his team mate in lane five.

The authorities have taken full responsibility for the mishap, arising from the situation. And as such, have made the necessary adjustments to facilitate the rerun of the race because of the situation which unfolded on Wednesday as a result of the incident.
