Jamaica’s sprint double silver medallist from the 1992 Barcelona Olympic Games, Juliet Cuthbert-Flynn, is pregnant at 51.

Cuthbert-Flynn, who helped Jamaica to bronze in the 4x100m at the Atlanta Olympic Games in 1996, revealed her pregnancy in an interview with the Jamaica Observer.

 “I’m three months pregnant,” the Observer quoted Cuthbert-Flyn, as saying.

She who won gold with Jamaica’s 4x100m team at the 1991 Tokyo World Championships, and is now into representation politics.

Cuthbert-Flynn has a 27-year-old son.

Representing the opposition Jamaica Labour Party in the West Rural St Andrew constituency, she will be up against the ruling People's National Party's, Paul Buchanan in theFebruary 25 General Election for a seat in her country’s Parliament.
